Nice purple colour, flawless but with a little colour zoning. This type of ring always reminds me of some Ancient Roman rings I saw once in the British Museum half a century ago and a younger me imagining who wore them. A Roman Senator, a General ? Someone with power. As always, the light box gives lots of internal detail but washes out some of the colour, hence the
